About The Owners Of Braymore Farm

John & Teri Pryor

Growing up Teri always wanted to live on a farm and take care of animals. This love of animals prompted her to become a veterinary technician. This 20 year career morphed into animal control for the county. A few years later, her life was affected by cancer and she left the animal field.

As their 5 kids started to grow up and move out, they bought a house that had some land. The hobby farm started with six chickens. After that they fenced the back of the property and soon after brought 2 mini donkeys and 3 miniature Nigerian goats to live in their new red barn.

Braymore Farm was established!

Fern (the herd queen) and Liam (the wether) are the originals that will remain at Braymore for the rest of their lives. As they continued to add goats to the farm family, it became apparent that the donkeys were not trustworthy with new herd members so their bags were packed, and the Pryor's bought more goats. This, of course, caught the attention of predators in the area, so they brought in Zarah, a livestock guardian dog to protect the herd.

With the support of her loving husband, John, and the grace of God, Teri has been able to live out her dream. Creating a farm life that offers the opportunity to be more self sufficient by utilizing the milk for drinking, cheese, ice cream and soap.

Both Teri and John deeply love and care for every animal on their farm. When they sell an animal, their goal is to educate buyers and provide companion animals that can fill the milk bucket, be successful in the show ring or simply be amazing pets. The support they provide does not stop when you pull out of our driveway. They are always just a phone call away.
