Health

• The health and well being of our goats is our top priority. As such, we reserve the right to refuse a sale or cancel a reservation if we feel that the sale is not a good fit for the goat.

• Braymore Farm tests every goat on the premises annually for CAE, CL and Johnes.

  • Test results are available at the request of any prospective buyer.

• All goats that are sold from Braymore Farm are sold as healthy and up to date on maintenance and required vaccinations prior to leaving the premises.

• Braymore Farm will not be responsible for any health issues or illnesses that occur after the animal has left the premises.

  • In situations where the issue or illness is certified by a vet to have been a pre-existing condition or genetic condition, we will work with the buyer to rectify the situation.

• All kids sold from Braymore Farm will be disbudded if they are not polled prior to pick up.

• Kids will either be sold on the bottle or dam raised and sold at weaning age. This is at the discretion of Braymore Farm but is also an agreed upon arrangement with the buyer.

    Deposits

• Deposits are required to hold a goat that has been listed for sale prior to pick up.

  • Deposits are accepted in the form of cash, Venmo, PayPal and Cash App. No personal checks will be accepted.

• The deposit amount required is 50% of the agreed upon sales price unless other arrangements are made between Braymore Farm and the buyer.

• Deposits are non-refundable if the buyer decides to not complete the sale except in circumstances such as illness of the animal prior to pick up, death of the animal prior to pick up or another extenuating circumstance outside of the buyer’s control that occurs prior to the animal leaving Braymore Farm.

   Pick Up Terms

• The balance due must be paid prior to pick up of the animal.

  • Balance may be paid via cash, Venmo, PayPal and Cash App. No personal checks are accepted.

• Once a deposit is placed on a goat, that goat is reserved for that buyer until pick up or transport. No substitutions will be allowed unless at the discretion of Braymore Farm.

• Once an agreed upon pick up date has been scheduled between Braymore Farm and the buyer, the buyer is expected to arrive on that scheduled date.

  • If an extenuating circumstance prevents pick up on the date agreed upon, proper notification must be given to Braymore Farm so that other arrangements can be made.

  • If the second pick up date is missed, Braymore Farm reserves the right to charge a boarding fee of $5 per goat per day that must be paid at the time of pick up.

   First Right of Refusal

• Braymore Farm requests first right of refusal for any animal bred and/or sold from them.

• If at any time, you choose to sell a Braymore Farm goat, please contact us prior to advertising the animal for sale to allow us to purchase back the animal if we wish to do so.

• If we decline the offer to buy the animal back, the buyer may then advertise the animal for sale.
